Padstow is both beautiful and romantic. A small fishing village on the Northern Cornish coast, nestled between the open sea and the camel estuary, its winding streets and picturesque buildings make it the most perfect location for a romantic retreat.
Storm Watching
Find a room with view and hunker up next to a roaring log fire with a hot chocolate. Nothing beats the timeless romance of witnessing huge thundering seas crashing in to Cornwall’s dramatic coast line.
Take a Stroll on the Beach
Cornish winters can be both blowy and beautiful, on a clear crisp day there is nothing better than wrapping up warm, and popping a pair of wellies on for a brisk walk on a golden sand beach, Castle beach and the Fowey estuary are particularly stunning walks for chilly day.
Take the Ferry
The classic wooden ferries of Falmouth to St Mawes run all year long and takes in some of the most breath-taking scenery including the castles of St Mawes and Pendennis. Covered and heated these ferries are ideal for costing up and relaxing during the winter months.
The Minack Theatre
A world famous outdoor theatre, the Minack sits perched on the high cliffs above the Atlantic Ocean, sat a seat and watch the performance, or go hand in hand through an acre of beautiful sub-tropical gardens , home to flowers and plants more at home in the canaries islands or Mexico.
