The Gweek Seal Sanctuary
Situated in 40 acres of stunning Cornish countryside, The Seal Sanctuary in Gweek is the only fully operational seal rescue centre in Cornwall. Our seal sanctuary provides a lifeline for stray, sick and injured seal pups which have been discovered around the Cornwall coast. Come and meet our residents, enjoy our wide open spaces & enjoy a relaxing drink or snack in our Seal Sanctuary Cafe.
Flambards Theme Park
Flambards, near Helston is Cornwall’s finest with thrill rides, complete with a brand new Jurassic Journey Trail, guaranteed to keep the dinosaur hunters of the family happy! As well as an award-winning undercover exhibitions such as the Victorian Village and Ferdi’s Fun Zone, which is useful when the rain comes down.
Falmouth Week
Falmouth Week provides a racing programme to challenge the most competitive sailors. However, it manages to retain it’s ‘fun and friendly’ feel which also attracts families and the less experienced. The regatta is organised by the Port of Falmouth Sailing Association. Originally a series of independent sailing regattas with modest Shoreside activities for competitors, their families, and visitors, it is now a major event in the town’s calendar with something for everyone to enjoy. Red Arrows – One of the world’s finest aerobatic display team, the Red Arrows, will be returning to Falmouth. They are famed for their high-speed aerial manoeuvres. They have now come to Falmouth multiple times of the last few years.
